Aussie game charts: October 27-November 2

Fallout 3 KOs Fable II for the top spot down under.

The Xbox 360 version of Bethesda Softworks' postapocalyptic action RPG Fallout 3 has debuted at number one, according to data trackers GfK Australia. The PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the game also made it into the top 10 chart, claiming fourth and fifth, respectively. Fallout 3's journey into the Australian market hasn't exactly been smooth sailing, given that it was reclassified in August by the Classification Board after it received the infamous "Refused Classification" sticker.

Fable II, which was last week's number one, dropped down into the silver-medal place for the week of October 27-November 2. Crowd favourite Wii Fit has fallen again to find itself in third spot. The Wii Play and Wii Remote bundle has laid claim to the sixth position, whereas Mario Kart Wii sits just behind it in seventh place. It has been quite a while since Flash Focus: Vision Training in Minutes a Day appeared in the charts, but thanks to a retail bundle with the Nintendo DS, it has returned to pick up eighth place. Far Cry 2 on the PS3 and 360 has taken out the last two positions at nine and 10.
