People like The Sims 3 a lot. So much so that The Sims 3 has spent its third week at the top of the overall Australian game charts, according to data trackers GfK Australia.

Wii Fit remains in the second spot, for the week of June 15-21. PlayStation 3-exclusive Infamous has overtaken its main competitor Prototype to reclaim the third spot. Wii Play, which comes bundled with a Wii Remote, has moved up one spot from the previous week into the fourth place. EA Sports Active can be found right in the middle in the fifth position. The latest Pokemon game to come out on the Nintendo DS, Pokemon Platinum, took out the sixth spot. In seventh place, we have Prototype for the Xbox 360, with the PlayStation 3 version also making it into the top 10, scrapping in at number nine. Between the two Prototypes is Nintendo's popular arcade racer Mario Kart Wii, which claimed the eighth place. Finally we have Rhythm Heaven in the 10th spot.
