Aussie game charts: June 11-17

Forza 2 burns rubber in first spot; Resistance back in overall top 10.

Forza Motorsport 2 has left its competitors in the dust down under, securing the number one position in the Australian game sales charts for the week of June 11 to June 17.

The new racer for the Xbox 360 leapt into the top spot in its debut week, relegating the previous week's first-place winner--Mario Strikers: Charged Football for the Nintendo Wii--to fifth position, according to data trackers GfK Australia.

Next-gen titles had a strong week down under. As well as Forza 2 and Mario Strikers, Resistance: Fall of Man and MotorStorm for the PS3, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Nintendo Wii, all made it back into the overall top 10.
