Aussie emulation mash-up July 15

Ms. 'Splosion Man proves that she's an independent woman in her own game.

The critically acclaimed Ms. 'Splosion Man burst onto Xbox Live Arcade this week, alongside action game Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team. In case you missed out on the first game, Ms. Splosion Man is a platforming game that sees you exploding your way through 50 levels, as well as an additional set of 50 levels for co-op play. For diehard fans, you can also work on improving your scores to unlock gamer pics and avatar clothes for your Xbox Live account.

For the Warhammer fans out there, Digital Warrington's Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team will give you your latest dose of ork killing. There's not a whole lot to say about this one, as it's a pseudo-side-scrolling top-down shooter and is the final game to come out of Digital Warrington, as the studio was recently shut down.

Sadly there are no new PlayStation 3 games on the PlayStation Network Store this week, just a demo for Pixel Junk Shooter 2 and two new PSP Mini titles: Arcade Pool and Snooker and Gamocracy One: Legend of Robot.

As for the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console store, Nintendo has revived Mario's Picross, a picture crossword game that was originally released in 1995 from the Game Boy days. On the flip side, for DSiWare there's only Airport mania: Non-Stop Flights, which is a Flight Control-like flight sim that has players landing planes and setting them up for takeoff.
