The hits keep rolling, and just in case your pile of games to play isn't big enough already, Sony has another one for you to add to the heap. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception sees its treasure-hunting protagonist getting himself caught up in a battle against a shadowy organisation while in search of the Atlantis of the Sands. Series veterans Sully and Elena make their return, but it's uncertain if she and Drake are still an item. The popular multiplayer mode that was added in the second game is back, with changes being made to the boosters system. Also new is Uncharted TV, a feature that lets you create and upload gameplay videos directly onto Facebook or YouTube from your PlayStation 3 console.
While Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception might represent the very latest gaming experience, Sega is offering a nod back to the olden days of gaming with Sonic Generations. After Modern Sonic becomes trapped in a time hole whilst celebrating his 20th birthday, Sonic and friends are sent into different areas of his 20-year history, with Modern Sonic bumping into his 2D classic self. From there, Classic and Modern Sonic race through time, with the action taking place across levels pulled from the various Sonic games, and playable in both 3D and 2D.
The Lord of the Rings: War in The North was originally slated to arrive this week as well; however, due to a last-minute operational issue, it has been pushed back to November 17.
