AU Shippin' Out March 31-April 4: Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus

It's slim pickings down under this week.

The last few weeks have seen some pretty big games launch. However, it's a different story this week, given that we're seeing only a trickle of games leaving the factories for Aussie gamers' houses. If you missed out on last year's Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and were looking to catch up on the complete Metal Gear chronology before Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots comes out, you should think about taking a look at Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus for the PSP.

MGS:POP features a hefty chunk of additional content on top of everything from the original, including new maps and characters for its online component. On the single-player side, a new mode called Infinity Missions has been added. Infinity Mode randomly selects maps through which you must advance. You must then navigate the stage by following the surround indicator within each level. Although this doesn't sound too hard, the surround indicator could lead you to an enemy, object, or advance point. Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus comes out on April 4.

This week's new releases are listed below (list taken from retailer and publisher information--actual dates may vary).
