AU Shippin' Out July 30-August 3: Guitar Hero 80s, FlatOut, and heaps of DS games

Do you wanna rock?

If wearing sleeveless T-shirts and listening to '80s rock is your thing, then maybe Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s is the game for you. For those who don't know what the Guitar Hero franchise is, it's a music game where players rock out with a custom guitar controller to various rock songs. Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s features 30 '80s rocks tracks ranging from Holy Diver to The Warrior, and it's hitting stores this Wednesday.

Out of the three next-gen consoles, only one of them is getting a new game this week. FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage is for the Xbox 360 and follows the simple premise of getting to the finishing line first whilst blowing away as much stuff as you can on the way. FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage will be available on Wednesday.

The week also sees an abundance of Nintendo games being released from Konami and Eidos. Nine games in total are being released for the platform composing of Dino Master, Marvel Trading Card Game, Nervous Brickdown, and more. All of those games are making their way to retail on August 3.
