AU Shippin' Out December 8-12: Prince of Persia

Save the world and dance your way through high school--just a typical week in Australian game releases.

With the end of the year fast approaching, we're seeing fewer and fewer games being released as each week passes. The bulk of this week's releases comprise multiplatform titles that have already been released on the Xbox 360 and PS3, but slipped back for the PC, PS2, and Wii. This week sees the PC version of Prince of Persia take the chalice for biggest release of the week; only a week behind its console counterparts. Beautifully rendered in cel-shading, POP tells the story of an accidental hero, the Prince, as he saves Elika and the world from dark forces. Prince of Persia for PC is due out this Thursday.

If SingStar Singalong with Disney didn't give you your fill of Disney-themed rhythm games, then Disney Interactive has you covered, with three rhythm-based games revolving around their recent musical hits: High School Musical and Camp Rock. High School Musical 3: Senior Year DANCE! features tracks from all the previous High School Musical films and has you hit the buttons onscreen in time with the music (think Guitar Hero, but with a controller). Disney Sing It: Camp Rock and Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3 are both karaoke games, which features tracks from their respective franchises. Expect to see these titles in store midweek.
