After a big couple of weeks for video game releases in Australia, things are slowing down with just a handful of titles arriving over the coming days. The biggest release is the tie-in game to the kid's film Rio from THQ. For this title, THQ opted to go down the party game route, packing in over 40 minigames that range from dodgeball to rhythm-based activities.

Other games out this week include Koei Tecmo's Samurai Warriors: Chronicles, which narrowly missed the launch of the Nintendo 3DS last week, ARMA II: Reinforcements, and an adventure game called The Next Big Thing.

Stay tuned to AU Shippin' Out over the next few weeks as things pick up again, with the release of Portal 2, AFL Live, and Pilotwings Resort.
