Capcom is no stranger to rereleasing improved versions of old games, especially when it comes to the Street Fighter franchise. So it wasn't too surprising when the Japanese developer announced last September announced that it would be releasing Super Street Fighter IV. On top of the 10 new fighters added to the roster, Capcom has also thrown in a replay mode, a second ultracombo for characters, and a return of car-and-barrel bashing. Super Street Fighter IV will be out on Thursday for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, along with a fresh shipment of Street Fighter IV fighting sticks from Mad Catz.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup isn't slated to kick off until early June, but EA Sports is jumping the gun and releasing its tie-in video game this week. Players can choose from 199 nations to steer to glory, with all 10 world cup stadiums faithfully re-created in the game. A variety of tweaks has also been made to the way the matches play out, ensuring it's not a simple rebrand of FIFA Soccer 10. Players keen on picking up 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa should check in with their local games retailer on Thursday.

The God of War Collection (GoDC) has been available in the US since late last year and is finally making its way as a stand-alone product down under. Previously exclusive to those who preordered the God of War 3: Ultimate Trilogy Edition, the GoDC contains the first two God of War games on one Blu-ray disc and is remastered to support 1080p high-definition displays. You can check out how the GoDC shaped up by watching our HD gameplay here.
