BioWare's flagship fantasy tale gets a new entry with the Australian retail release of Dragon Age: Inquisition on November 20. A sequel to Dragon Age II, the open-world game marks the third main instalment in the Dragon Age series.

Players are able to import saves states from previous game via Dragon Age Keep, a free service which allows the creation of a customized world state to use in Inquisition. Dragon Age Keep incorporates the results of over 300 key decisions so that players can recreate their story however they see fit.

The game has received high praised in GameSpot's review, commended for the thematic ties in its fantasy world. For more on what everyone else is saying about the game, check out our review roundup.

If your preference for open-world adventures lie with the more gun-toting variety, Ubisoft's Far Cry 4 hits shelves this week. The game is set in a fictional region inspired by the Himalayas. According to the developer, Far Cry 4 should take about 35 hours to finish.

As well as guns, players will also be able to weaponize the wildlife, from riding elephants to using snow leopards to gain advantage in combat. The game also introduces multiplayer co-operative play, a first for the Far Cry series. Haven't been keeping up with the game's pre-release information? We round up everything you need to know before picking it up.

On the other end of the spectrum, Pokemon fans apparently still have more to catch, with the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
