ATV Offroad Fury 3 revs into retail

Offroad racer hits stores today; new developer Climax adds more courses and vehicles.

Sony today announced that ATV Offroad Fury 3 has shipped to retail stores. The third installment in the PlayStation 2 racing series was created by MotoGP developer Climax. (Previous developer Rainbow Studios left the franchise after developing the first two games.)

ATV Offroad Fury 3 brings back the online play established in the second installment, supporting up to six players via the Sony Network Adaptor and featuring voice chat capabilities. Gamers will be able to perform tricks and ride through six different modes, including championship, free ride, and several minigames. Players can customize their vehicles with different components and their riders with various colors and logos.

ATV Offroad Fury 3 is rated "E" for Everyone and it carries an SRP of $39.99. For more information, check out GameSpot's review.
