Atriarch beta sign-ups open

World Fusion has opened up a sign-up page for the beta test of its massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Atriarch. Those interested in participating in the test can now fill out an application at the official Atriarch beta Web page.

Atriarch is set in a 3D online alien world that spans more than a million square kilometers. Players assume the role of characters who can explore the world, build settlements, run businesses, and engage in a variety of other activities. Unlike most other online role-playing games, characters in Atriarch will make progress even when the player is not online, minimizing the disparity between players who can spend a great deal of time playing and those who cannot.
