Atlus has maintained a steady string of game announcements across multiple platforms in the past month. After revealing it would be supporting Microsoft's Xbox 360 for the first time with Operation Darkness and Spectral Force 3 in 2008, the publisher announced last week it would be bringing Sting Entertainment's postapocalyptic role-playing game Baroque to the PS2 and Wii in February.

Today, the Japanese RPG-centric publisher announced it would be bolstering the Nintendo DS's turn-based strategy library with Drone Tactics. Dealing heavy in what Atlus calls "mecha insecta," the game will offer more than 100 weapons and augmentations to outfit players' armies of giant insect robots. In addition to "dozens of campaign operations," the turn-based strategy game will offer 50-plus maps and local multiplayer play.

Drone Tactics is currently slated to arrive for the DS on March 25. For more on the game, check out its official Web site, which also went live today. The game has not yet been rated or priced.
