Atlus Delivers Dark Messiah

Atlus prepares a new "dark" game called, appropriately, Dark Messiah.

Comments

Atlus is preparing another dark game called, appropriately, Dark Messiah. This game is set in a 3D dungeon, but it's not an RPG, rather, an adventure game.

The game is set in end-of-the-century Tokyo. By the scheming of the religious cult Seinaru Wa (Holy Circle), the player has become trapped in Tokyo Mesh, the city built under Tokyo. Tokyo Mesh is a labyrinthine city with lots of traps and mysterious creatures. The only thing the player can do is run. He can't attack enemies, so he has to find a partner who has weapons. The partner will attack his enemies for him. He will meet different kinds of partners. If he cooperates with them he'll find the way out of Tokyo Mesh and will see the light of the day. Dark Messiah for the PlayStation is still in early development and has no release date yet.
