You've already limited your audience by going with something like cryengine 3.  A lot of PC gamers just don't have a powerful enough PC to run something like that.  It also doesn't help that MMOs are notorious for being buggy and unfinished at release.

Cyberpunk isn't generally my thing, but if done right I enjoy it... like in Deus ex games.

Looking forward to this game, but I'm not getting overexcited because I doubt it'll come out anytime this year. No point in getting hyped and than waiting 2 years for actual game release...

Set the Goals to high and people won't play it.  All these MMORPG looks the same, GRIND!!!

an mmo with high end game raids (new content every 3-4 months), which only well geared, prepared and skilled players can down it's bosses = win

don't have that = fail

end game pvp with new bgs, open world battles for areas, towns villages, cities, territories etc.. = win

don't have that = fail

and the content has to be great, not just good or ok.

if the game doesn't have those qualities, then it's just like every other mmo out there which means it's boring.

World bosses without the need to party up? In other MMOs, we call those uniqes/elites.

Boasting that a game features world boss fights without the need for teaming is an insulting way to say 'We don't have world bosses, just pathetic excuses for ones' unless there is some mechanic for provisionally amping up the ability of players and so on such that they can take on said bosses without nerfing them...Begs the question of why not, though I realize that the answer would be disappointing both for me as the hopeful consumer and for pathetic developer team...

@Shinteikun dont really understand why you are talking about cyberpunk...

@buccomatic Very few MMOs can offer new high end raids every 3-4 months. The encounters take longer than that just to fine tune the mechanics. What would be a good idea would be to take all the raids and make them scalable, that way the content would never be completely useless.

Look at Everquest, they have so many expansions now that any new players won't experience 90% of the raids, or at least not in the right way.

Rift had frequent updates, and did quite a bit, and even then it didn't manage to retain its subscriptions. Pay to play MMOs just aren't going to work as a business model anymore unless you're WoW unfortunately.

@oflow @Shinteikun  ok, I blame Gamespot for this mixup... I didn't comment on this topic at all... I did on cyberpunk 2077.

I didn't even open this topic, it's not interesting to me...

oh well... XD

@Ayato_Kamina_1 @buccomatic yes, you're right.

it's true that few (except one) mmo's can offer high end raids every 3-4 months. and that's why they all suck and all fail except for wow.

 PCGOTY tells you something?

Did you even played it?

You know who got lay off?

I'm guessing you didn't like it very much because you can't destroy someone that's low level, because PvP was build to reward skill and not grind.

And I'm guessing you didn't got head over heels with WvW because legendary weapons are just skins and don't make you a God vs other players.

@Ayato_Kamina_1 That sounds nothing like Guild Wars 2.

Brainless zergfests are not pvp, pointless gear sets,/leveling etc etc that serve no real purpose is not progression and raids that serve no real purpose either is not high-end content. GW2 is a mediocre mmo with poorly implemented features.

Not to mantion the game failed so hard they had to cut like 30% of their staff to make up for the losses.
