Assassin's Creed slays Web
Secretive project from Ubisoft Montreal dishes info on the Internet; site features trailers, screenshots, more.
Since its showing behind closed doors at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2006, Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed has vaulted into many gamers' must-have lists. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game has been the subject of countless rumors, yet has largely maintained its shrouded secrecy and only recently showed in-game footage to the public. Now, the game is stepping further out of the shadows as the Assassin's Creed official Web site has now gone live. The site features a few of the game's trailers, a few screenshots, a developer diary (which talks about the hero's missing finger and touches on the game's big surprise), and links to message boards. Assassin's Creed is scheduled for release in 2007.
