Aspyr Media has announced that it has struck a deal with Funcom to publish Dreamfall: The Longest Journey in North America. The adventure game will be available on the Xbox and PC this spring. Dreamfall is the sequel to 2000's critically lauded The Longest Journey. It features three playable characters, who each see the story unfold from a different perspective. While traveling through three worlds, gamers will use various tactics, such as stealth, deception, and brawn, to solve different challenges.

I'm from NY too and I'v eheard of it. It's one of the best adventure games ever made. I can't wait to be able to play the sequel.

The Longest Journey was a pure adventure game, so you really can't go by how well it sells compared to other titles. A side note: the fact that the sequel will have combat is something of a surprise, since that's generally a no-no in the genre. Either way, the original is a great game, and I have high hopes its sequel will be, too.

Dreamfall was a game that a lot of people and critics really enjoyed. I have tried to play it on two different occasions but could never get into it. Even though I probably won't get Dreamfall I'm happy the sequel is coming out for those who enjoyed it.
