JoWood Productions has today announced that it's begun shipping Archangel to stores in North America. In the game, players assume the role of a recently deceased family man named Michael Travinsky who, after dying tragically in a car crash, is resurrected by the lord of light, who believes him to be the next "chosen one." As such, Travinsky is expected to save the world from a deadly evil in the form of demons and ghosts by battling them in three different time periods.

Archangel can be played from third- and first-person perspectives, and it features RPG-style character development in the form of "essence" that can be spent on upgrading weapons or improving Travinsky's skills. For more information on Archangel, check out our previous coverage of the game.
