Polish development studio Metropolis Software has announced its latest project--a dark third-person action game called Archangel. The game will be published by Fishtank Interactive, and it combines action, adventure, and role-playing game mechanics. Archangel takes place in three different time periods and locations, and the gameworld includes science fiction, fantasy, and horror elements. The game uses an all-new proprietary 3D game engine that supports both indoor and outdoor environments. According to Metropolis, the game will also feature detailed non-player characters that take an active part in the game's story.

For more information, visit the official Metropolis Software Web site. Archangel is scheduled for release sometime in 2002.
