Fishtank Interactive and Massive Development have announced that the submarine action game AquaNox has gone gold. The game takes place in the future, many years after a global nuclear war has forced all the survivors to settle underwater. During a period of political unrest, a huge underwater landslide opens a series of caverns and frees a group of ancient gods that had been imprisoned for aeons. Players assume the role of "Dead Eye" Flint, a submarine pilot who must battle both human and monster enemies in his quest to save human civilization.

AquaNox was created by Massive Development, and it is expected to arrive in stores in early November. For more information, take a look at our in-depth preview of the game.
