Anarchy Online expansion update

Funcom has updated the official Anarchy Online Web site with details about Anarchy Online: Shadowlands , the upcoming expansion pack to Funcom's online role-playing game. The update includes information about new professions, items, monsters, and combat skills.

"We have had a lot of fun making Shadowlands, and we know our players will be pleasantly surprised with what we've come up with," said Anarchy Online's game director, Gaute Godager. "The twisted but exciting gameplay changes and additions will give our fans plenty of new things to do in these visually amazing places."

Aside from the new character classes, items, and monsters, Shadowlands will introduce new areas for players to explore, including a floating city called Jobe. Other enhancements include the addition of profession specializations and an increased level cap, which will help diversify the player population. Further details, such as music samples and the background story, can be found at the Shadowlands Web site, which will be updated monthly with more specific information on the game's features.
