Amped Labs cooking up Burger Wars
Cel-shaded PC shooter from indie Texas studio takes potshot at fast-food industry.
Having already hit books (Fast Food Nation) and film (Super Size Me), the fast-food backlash is now extending into games. Independent, Texas-based developer/publisher Amped Labs is working on Burger Wars, a cel-shaded comic shooter that chronicles the bloody struggle between two futuristic burger franchises. Due for consumption in summer of 2004, the game will be released on the PC, Mac, and Linux and can handle up to 64 players per server. Amped Lab's Web site has more information on the game.
