CDV Software has announced that American Conquest, which was developed by Ukraine-based GSC Game World, has gone gold. The game is scheduled to ship to retail outlets in North America on February 5, but, although the game is already available in France and Germany, it won't reach the UK until February 14.

American Conquest is an epic real-time strategy game set in the period of American history between 1492 and 1813. Players assume control of any one of 12 warring factions, including both European armies and Native American tribes.
