In terms of hardware, Amazon is offering the 500 GB Xbox One Gears of War Ultimate Edition bundle for $260 (note that the new Xbox One S is coming later this year).

Another good hardware deal is for the 500 GB "name your game" Xbox One bundle. For Prime Day, Amazon is also including copies of Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition and Forza Horizon 2, an extra controller ("dusk shadow" color), and a $30 Amazon gift card...all for $280.

Additionally, the Art of Fallout 4 book is discounted to $22, while The Art of the Uncharted Trilogy can be had for $17.

A variety of accessories such as headsets, mice, and keyboards, are also on sale. Go to Amazon's video game landing page here to see all the deals. These deals are good today only (July 12), and require a Prime membership ($100/year) to get the lowest prices.

The 2015 Prime Day event was Amazon's biggest sale ever, but it was heavily criticized for poor deals and limited stock. VP of Amazon Prime Greg Greeley explained in a statement that the company is increasing the quantity of items that are going on sale for 2016.
