Hyun showed a lot of promise at Dreamhack Winter, where his breakout performance took him to the top 3 of the tournament after defeating BlizzCon champion Kim 'sOs' Yoo Jin, Choi 'Polt' Seong Hun, Mun 'MMA' Seong Won and Lee 'INnoVation' Shin Hyung before being defeated by Lee 'Life' Seung Hyun in a 2-1 series. This turned many heads in the Starcraft community, and it has lead to his recruitment to Alien Invasion.

No plans about Patience's involvement in the upcoming season of WCS 2014 have been announced.

Statement from Jo 'Patience' Ji Hyun:

First of all I want to thank Alien Invasion for their trust in me. I'm full of confidence to reach my personal goals and hopefully the expectation of my new team. I'm looking forward to the new environment and hope I can settle down quickly.

Statement from Alien Invasion owner Heiner 'AiTotoro' Knüppel:

At this stage we feel matured enough to take the next step and reach the next level. With new partners and players we will take the challenge of 2014 and show our supporters and fans, what can be achieved with hard work and perserverance.

After the addition of Strelok in early December, we are proud to welcome such an exceptional player.

Best eSports regards.
