Strategy First and Made by Kiddies have today announced that they're working on an arcade shooter entitled Alien Blast: The Encounter for the PC. The game will challenge players to single-handedly defend allied planets from an attacking alien horde across 45 increasingly difficult levels.

"We worked with Made by Kiddies on Air Raid so we're delighted to have signed another of their great titles," said Don McFatridge, president of Strategy First. "Alien Blast is an exciting arcade title that will blend nicely into our 2004 line-up."

"Alien Blast is one chilling and addictive playable game whether you're a fan of sci-fi or just an arcade fan in general," added Christopher Lee, executive producer at Made by Kiddies. "If you are into slashing and hacking aliens, this game will keep you busy and is well worth picking up."

Alien Blast: The Encounter will feature both single-player and multiplayer gameplay options, and is currently scheduled for release in North America in the first quarter of 2004. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
