Ai Sugiyama joins Power Smash 2 for the PS2

Hitmaker has announced that Japanese professional tennis player Ai Sugiyama will join the roster in Power Smash 2 for the PlayStation 2.The game was previously released on the Dreamcast in North America under the name Tennis 2K2. The game already has 16 pro tennis players to choose from, such as Patrick Rafter, Yevgeny Kafelnikov, and Serena Williams. Ai Sugiyama will be the first Japanese player to be featured in the game.

Power Smash 2 for the PlayStation 2 is scheduled for a summer release in Japan.
