AFL Live 2 confirmed for release this year
Sequel to AFL Live confirmed; game to be available by the end of the year for 360 and PS3.
Tru Blu Entertainment has announced AFL Live 2, a sequel to Aussie Rules sports game AFL Live. The game is scheduled for release this year on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The game will include a Career Mode, which spans 15 years. The Career Mode will allow players to manage training, sponsorships, staffing, tribunal, emails, drafting, and trading.
Over 60 teams are to be available in-game, including those from TAC Cup, VFL, AFL, and bonus teams such as the Big V, Indigenous All-Stars, and those from the International Cup. Over 200 AFL players will be modelled in the game, and commentary voice-overs are to be provided by Dennis Cometti and Tom Harley.
Additional features confirmed include:
- Player creation in the Footy Factory
- Multiple camera angles and dynamic replays
- Unlockable statia and bonus teams
Developer Tru Blu Entertainment is no stranger to working on AFL games, having published AFL in 2011.
