Electronic Arts has released Adventure Pinball: Forgotten Island for the PC today. The game features an adventure story that takes you through nine pinball tables of increasing difficulty. Your goal is to save the inhabitants of Forgotten Island, a prehistoric land filled with dinosaurs and other fantastical creatures, through a number of pinball challenges.

Developed by Digital Extremes, Adventure Pinball: Forgotten Island is based on the Unreal game engine, and it features some incredible looking 3D environments, fluid movement, and gameplay moments that you'd never see in traditional pinball games. For example, pinballs can catch fire and drift over raging waterfalls; pterodactyls can grab pinballs and fly away, dropping them in another level of the table; and cavemen will attempt to swat balls with their wooden clubs. Multiplayer support in Adventure Pinball allows up to four players to compete in turn-based action.

Adventure Pinball: Forgotten Island carries a suggested price of $29.99. You can find more information on the game at www.pinball.ea.com.
