Ubisoft announced today that its side-scrolling action game Advance Guardian Heroes will see a North American release. Previously announced for a Japanese release, the fast-paced brawler is the sequel to Guardian Heroes, which was released for the Sega Saturn in 1996. Advance Guardian Heroes includes three new characters imbued with elemental powers, and it continues the story from the original game. The game also includes versus and co-op multiplayer modes. Advance Guardian Heroes is rated "E" for everyone and will retail for $29.99. Both the North American and Japanese versions are scheduled for a September release.
