Activision Grabs Road Champs BXS License

Activision has secured a popular trick-stick toy bike license for its Game Boy Color stunt biking game

JAKKS Pacific has announced that it has licensed its Road Champs BXS brand for Activision's new stunt biking game for the Nintendo Game Boy Color. Titled Road Champs BXS Stunt Biking, the game features 64 levels of competition, 27 different courses, and eight unique stunt BMX riders. Modes of play include career, single run, training, and tournament.

"We are excited to bring the number one BMX toy license to the Game Boy Color platform," said Michael Pole, executive vice president of Activision Worldwide Studios. "Road Champs BXS trick-stick bikes from JAKKS Pacific have been top sellers since the franchise launched last holiday season."

The game is being developed by HotGen Studios and will be released this holiday season.
