Act Labs is shipping the first light gun for the PC. Called the GS Gun System, the peripheral will support several titles this fall including Die Hard Trilogy 2 from Fox Interactive, Top Shot and Cabela Sportsman's Challenge from Activision, and Deer Hunter 3 by Sunstorm Interactive. The company says it has already scheduled support for more than 20 titles and is working on patenting the PC light-gun technology.

Selling for US$99.99, the GS Gun System offers single- and two-player mode with two guns and a base unit with two holster base units. A handheld controller with the system lets gamers switch from gun to controller for quick mouse emulation without any buttons.

So if you've been waiting all these years for someone to release a PC light gun, get your trigger finger ready.
