Acquire prepares Samurai for 2002
The developer of the first two Tenchu games is preparing a samurai-action game for the PlayStation 2.
GameSpot has learned that Acquire is currently developing an action game titled Samurai for the Sony PlayStation 2. The company was responsible for the development of the first two Tenchu titles, but it moved away from that series after Activision obtained the rights to it. The upcoming Tenchu 3 is being developed by K2. Spike will publish the tentatively titled Samurai on the Japanese PlayStation 2. The game's release is scheduled for February 2002. GameSpot will have more as further information on the game becomes available.
