Acclaim is banking on its South Park license to cash in on the rise in popularity of multiplayer party games like You Don't Know Jack, Mario Party, Bis Hibachi Special and Austin Powers: Operation Trivia with this morning's announcement of South Park: Chef's Luv Shack.

Up to four players can take on the role of Kenny, Cartman, Kyle or Stan in a combination of trivia and South Park episode-inspired mini-games. The enigmatic Chef acts as the game's host, providing witty commentary and off-the-wall remarks along the way. ``The South Park team had a great time coming up with wacky ideas for the mini-games,'' says lead designer and project manager Jools Watsham. ``South Park fans will instantly appreciate how true we've remained to the cable series.'' The game also features sound bites created specifically for this game by the show's original creators and voice talent, Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Isaac Hayes.

Chef's Luv Shack will be available for the PlayStation, Nintendo64 and PC this fall.
