Sports titles galore - all for the Nintendo 64 - get release dates.

Acclaim has announced that NFL Quarterback Club '99 will ship on November 10, and NBA Jam '99 and NHL Breakaway '99 will ship on November 30. All these titles are for the N64.

NFL Quarterback Club '99 follows up its 1997 predecessor with high-resolution 640x480 graphics (courtesy of the new RAM Pak) much like other upcoming Acclaim titles, like Turok 2. Other features for the title include colorful play-by-play commentary from national broadcasters RandyCross and Mike Patrick, all new AI, and the endorsement of NFL MVP Brett Favre.

NBA Jam '99 is bringing it back to the hoop as a five-on-five player simulation and arcade title with smooth skin textures and signature moves for each of the NBA's top stars. Commentary comes from NBA analysts Bill Walton and Keith Harlan. NBA Jam '99 is endorsed by star rookie Keith Van Horn of the NJ Nets, who, with Minnesota Timberwolves' star guard, Stephon Marbury, helped to provide motion capture. The separate five-on-five Jam mode is an all-out war with gravity-defying dunks, no fouling, and flaming basketballs.

NHL Breakaway '99 is endorsed by the 1998 Stanley Cup MVP and Detroit Red Wings captain Steve Yzerman and will feature all 27 NHL teams including the expansion Nashville Predators and over 600 players from the NHLPA. Features for NHL Breakaway '99 include real-life ice textures, arena names, and scouting reports.

Looks like Acclaim has the holiday season off to a good beginning for the sports gamer.
