AC: Revelations single-player DLC inbound

Ubisoft reportedly offering up 10 new achievements worth 250 gamerscore in stealth action game; Ottoman Edition also rumored.

The last two downloadable content packs for Assassin's Creed: Revelations were multiplayer focused, but it appears the next wave of content will be a single-player affair.

It appears AC: Revelations has more story to tell.

As spotted by Xbox360Achievements, the Ubisoft action adventure game features 10 new achievements of unknown providence. One of the achievements tasks players with crossing the River Styx, and another is unlocked after falling 25 meters and landing on a block.

No mention was made as to what the content will be called, when it will be released and on which platforms, or how much it will cost.

Previously released Assassin's Creed: Revelations multiplayer DLC includes the Ancestors Characters Pack and the Mediterranean Traveller's Pack, which shipped in December and January, respectively, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

On top of the rumored single-player DLC for Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Ubisoft is reportedly planning an Ottoman Edition of the game. As spotted on United Kingdom retailer Game (via CVG), the new edition of the game will include unnamed "free downloadable content."

As of press time, Ubisoft had not responded to GameSpot's request for comment on the matter. For more on Assassin's Creed: Revelations, check out GameSpot's review.

ABOUT DARN TIME, UBISOFT!! But this looks to resolve solely around Desmond's... I'm getting rather nervous here!

@lolnation I highly doubt that, since they already had trophies for finishing all of them. Besides what else is there to do in the Desmond memories?

I was getting excited but it's probably only Desmond memories judging from the trophies :(

The multiplayer map pack was a crock, because they set it in a different category in of itself, so barely anyone plays it. Oh well. I'll see what this DLC has to offer.

They say a lot more about the achievements than the actual content in this article. New acheievements are not what I would call new content.

I'd rather buy SP DLC than MP *useless map pack* DLC. From any game.

I've never really been a fan of multi player games ,too much work & players that are not good team players. This should work out just fine by single player fans

@guildclaws Indeed. More pseudo Portal action. Probably going to be accessed by those broken doorways on Animus Island. They'd better really dial it up or sell it cheap if they want my money.

Judging from the Achievements, it's a Desmonds Sequence DLC i think.

@Smiling-sam Hate to break it to ya but Ezio dies sitting on a bench.

Cool, you should get to play Ezio's death, i've seen embers and that was good but would have preferred to have had a big battle or something where he like sacrifices himself to save someone, cos you can't have him getting beaten in a fight.

DLC? Meh. It's rarely any good for almost any game.

AC Revelations was the first game of the series I didn't completely love. I'm hoping AC3 brings back the AC2 scale, and then they let the series lay fallow for at least a year after that it doesn't burn out like, say, Guitar Hero.

It takes pretty big peaches to ship a slapdash, crank-it-out sequel and then start asking people to pay for more content. Considering the fact that 90% of Revelations was just repurposed from the previous games, it would've been nice to actually get new material in the core product. I almost feel bad for praising AC2 so highly. I didn't know, at the time, that the series would become a lazy, zombified cash-in.

OH NOOOOO! You mean for a few more bucks I get more use out of my game? This is terrible! Damn you, Ubisoft! How could you give us more game. *shakes fist at sky*

Well, at least Ubisoft doesn't have an AC:Elite social whatever, and they haven't released AC games every year for 4 continuous years about the same stuff (at least they try to innovate). And, more importantly, Ac games are a lot of fun. So, Assassin's Creed > CoD.
