Yep mine sounds like a jet engine but i dont mind..Just happy to be in the 360 experience since i am poor and dont have a morgage payment to blow on a crapstation 3:):lol:

i've got the middle one, but the best ones probably really recent, cos i only got my 360 3 months ago. The noise doesn't bother me, and at least it's not the worst one. :P

I'm stuck with the Hitachi-LG.

I've got the original one, Toshiba-Samsung. It might be loud, but once I get into the game I'm playing I don't notice the noise. And playing DVD's is much quieter than playing the games, so that's also a plus. No big deal to me.
