Ubi Soft Entertainment is getting set to release S.C.A.R.S. (Super Computer Animal Racing Simulation), a new racing sim mixing 3D graphics with, well, animals - specifically hybrid vehicle-animals. Sound weird?

The premise is that in 3000 AD supercomputers design nine new racing vehicles based on some vicious and ruthless Earth creatures. Hence you'll be able to race with the tiger shark, rhino roadster, and so forth. Each of the vehicles has its own performance characteristics and attack capabilities, and S.C.A.R.S. will also feature some very futuristic tracks and physical challenges.

"S.C.A.R.S. takes all platforms to a graphic level that players have never seen," said Yves Guillemot, president of Ubi Soft. "Technical excellence and attention to playability make this game a real tour de force."

S.C.A.R.S. is set for release in November for the PC, Sony PlayStation, and Nintendo 64.
