No Caption ProvidedIn terms of new reviews, today has to be one of the busiest days in the relatively young life of GameSpot Sports. To coincide with the launch of the Nintendo DS, we've got reviews for two of the handheld system's launch sports titles: Madden NFL 2005 and Asphalt: Urban GT. In addition, the Great One returns to video game hockey, as our own Alex Navarro (the other Great One) takes an in-depth look at Gretzky NHL 2005 for the PS2. It's been a while since 989 Sports last hit the ice with a hockey title and while this newest puck title looks to far surpass 989's abysmal FaceOff series, it may still leave fans looking for an alternative to the EA and ESPN games a bit cold. Read our full review of the game for the full story.

Even though we're quickly approaching the Thanksgiving break, don't think GameSpot Sports is slowing down one bit. We'll have plenty of great reviews and features for you next week. Until then, for those of you lucky enough to get your hands on a DS this weekend: have fun with the new system. And if you find yourself outside waiting in line on Sunday morning, hoping to get your hands on a DS of your very own, be sure and dress warm.
