$23 Buys You Every BioShock Game Ever Made Right Now on Xbox Live

BioShock 1 and BioShock 2 going for $5, while BioShock Infinite currently on sale for $13.

Haven't played a BioShock game before? Now is a pretty cost-effective time to jump in and see what Ken Levine's acclaimed shooter franchise is all about. Microsoft's latest set of deals for Xbox Live Gold subscribers includes hefty markdowns on the entire BioShock series.

Now through July 21, the original BioShock (2007) and its sequel BioShock 2 (2010) are on sale for $5 each. In addition, last year's BioShock Infinite can currently be had for $12.89, meaning you can buy every game in the series right now for less than $23. Further, the two episodes in BioShock Infinite's Burial at Sea campaign, as well as the Clash in the Clouds and Columbia's Finest DLC, are on sale.

In addition to sales around the BioShock series, Microsoft's Deals with Gold promotion this week includes markdowns on various Quake and Doom games, as well as a pair of Xbox One titles. You can see a full roundup of the week's deals below. And if you need an Xbox Live Gold subscription, your sweet tooth could actually help you out.

Deals marked with an asterisk are available for Xbox Live Silver and Gold members, but do not go into effect until July 17.

What is with these broken ass links on Gamespot? I clicked the mighty no. 09 video and it takes me here. This is happening more and more lately.

Every Bioshock game plus 10 other games for 20 dollars at humblebundle.com for PC #PCMASTERRACE

Neat. Sadly you can have them with Burial at the Sea ep 1 and 2 from Steam for roughly the same price if you're willing to wait 'till next sales.

bit off topic, but are the Burial of Sea Episodes worth buying?

$34.37 here in Australia with the other 2 at $12.48.

What a massive rip-off.

Even on Steam Infinite is $40 as standard.

Infinite Season Pass didn't go on sale, but it's still the best deal. It's only $20 and it comes with all 3 DLCs

Crazy cheap Bioshock games for PC? Check. Crazy cheap Bioshock games for X360? Check. Your move, Sony

Oh, hm. Maybe I'll get Bioshock 2 on 360, since I got it on PS3, and it's better (visually) on the 360. I like Bioshock 2.

$23?  Right now on Humble Bundle if you pay more than $20, you can get Bioshock 1, 2, and 3, The Darkness II, Spec Ops: The Line, Mafia II, X-Com Enemy Unknown, The Bureau X-Com Declassified, and X-Com Complete Pack.

So, for LESS than $23, you can get all three Bioshocks and ten additional games.

...stuff like this is why I abandoned consoles.

And on Steam you can get them all for $6.

Blah blah blah Steam blah blah blah cheaper. You PC gamers make me absolutely sick. Is every single one of you a god-damn pessimist or what? It is simply great that an online service that we pay for is giving away games for such inexpensive prices.  Even if Steam does have better sales, you cannot compare PC games and console games because for the longest time PC games have been cheaper then Console games brand new.

Sony should do that for the Original Bioshock. I'd like to get it but not gonna pay much for a 7 year old game, even if it's an excellent game...

it's nice that the games are going on sale, but i got all 3 bioshock games for $10 not too long ago on steam.

Humble bundle is also offering the 3 Bioshock games with some extras for marginally the same price. But this is a very sweet deal if you only game on MS consoles. Go get it Sevenizz!

Bioshock Infinite's season pass is still cheaper than buying both Burial at Sea episodes on sale ($19.99 vs $20.08)....

PvZ for $24 is still a great deal! whoever didn't grab that yet, it's a nice entry price tag for an awesome game with loads of content already in-game…

I like the direction MS is taking with these sales. Like a lot of people, I wish there were more ports to next gen systems.

@fredwv Only if you're a fan of the serie. They're kind of meh for anyone else honestly, and they're short.

@Soundaholic92  Bioshock Infinite and I believe either Bioshock 1 or 2 has been free on Playstation Plus at some point. Infinite was free for quite some time.

@heavilyarmedxdl What are you talking about. PC gamers don't buy games. They pirate it. Don't you know nothing?

@DiamondDM13 It still plays and looks fine... It's one of the best games in my opinion.

lrdfancypants

They did. 1&2 was like 5 bucks and infinite was free.

@Stebsis I've got all Bioshock games and many, many more to play from PS+ at no additional cost. What about that?

seanwil545

@everson_rm

Bioshock Infinite was a PSN+ game a while back for the PS3, but I don't think Sony has matched this deal.

I grabbed the Burial Episodes during the Steam sale...

brande77

@lilflipp @heavilyarmedxdl probably less than console players "pirate" games (file sharing), simply due to the size of the console gamer audience. Every time someone gives a game disc to their friend "sharing the files" buy used from some placer like Gameslop, the publisher/dev gets absolutely nothing.

(Which, additionally, is why DLC was invented, so people have to at least buy part of the game directly even if they got the disc for free/used.)

heavilyarmedxdl
heavilyarmedxdl

@brande77 @heavilyarmedxdl Oh why you don't pay for your internet service? In the long run I save ten times as much money as people that insist on owning top of the line PCs.

DiamondDM13
DiamondDM13

@NTM23 @DiamondDM13 Oh I've played it already, it's an excellent game. It's just that I have a set price I'm willing to pay for it given the circumstances (I've played it through, it's quite old, doesn't have much re-playability. I mostly want it to add the Platinum to my collection since it's a game that is worthy of being in there).

lrdfancypants
lrdfancypants

I'm just now playing infinite. Started it last night. As in I just walked out the chapel and garden area ha.

brande77
brande77

@heavilyarmedxdl @brande77 No you don't pay for your internet gaming service on PC, like you do on consoles. You pay for a connection to your ISP regardless of platform.

Good job playing that "insist on owning top of the line PCs." card. You don't need that for any of these games anyway.

lrdfancypants
lrdfancypants

I never played bioshock at all. None of then. Does it matter I'm starting with infinite?

I looked it up I bought it oct last year was the sale.

lrdfancypants
lrdfancypants

I can look it up on my Psn. It was when they had the deals for series. I think crysis dead space and some others as well.

seanwil545
seanwil545

@everson_rm @seanwil545

I thought about buying it last year, but I didn't like Bioshock 2 at all really so I waited. I tried it on PSN+ and then decided to buy from Steam for like $7.95 since I liked it so much.

The difference between the PS3 version and PC is just silly; we'll worth the $8.

DiamondDM13
DiamondDM13

@lrdfancypants Yes, it does matter, you should start with Bioshock and then Bioshock Infinite. I didn't play Bio2 since I'm too fond of the original to let another studio ruin my memories (I did play Minerva's Den, which is great, but doesn't relate to the story on the others so it's okay to play).

lrdfancypants
lrdfancypants

Oh ok. I'll download it from my list then.

Sorry you missed sale:(. Looks like I bought several games on it.

Truth is it was random I just stumbled on it on Psn which I don't open sometimes but once a week or more. Never saw article on it like this.
