$120 Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Collector's Edition Gets You All of This

"Atlas Pro Edition" described as the "ultimate package;" $80 "Atlas Limited Edition" and $100 "Digital Pro Edition" also revealed.

Gamers looking to go big with this fall's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare are in luck, as the collector's editions for the game were announced today and they come with premium price tags.

The $120 "Atlas Pro Edition," which is described as the "ultimate package," features the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season pass, a collectible steelbook, the Welcome to Atlas: Advanced Soldier Manual, and a collection of digital content including weapons, a multiplayer map (the Gorge), and the game's soundtrack .

Meanwhile, the $80 "Atlas Limited Edition" does not include the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season pass, but it does come with the Gorge multiplayer map, as well the Soldier Manual, steelbook case, and various in-game digital content like a special exoskeleton and helmet.

The full contents of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Atlas Pro Edition and Atlas Limited Edition are available on the game's website.

A special Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Digital Pro Edition is also available for preorder. The $100 bundle includes the game's season pass, as as well as the bonus Gorge multiplayer map, and various in-game items like weapons and a player card. As its name suggest, this is a digital-only bundle.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launches November 4 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. Earlier today, Activision released an all-new story trailer for the game, which sets up the campaign and even offers a brief tease of the multiplayer mode.

Hope I can get the Digital Pro Edition. I don't really care for the steelbook and manual.

My favorite was Night Vision Goggles from  Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

In spite of all the hate, we will still have COD sheep who will buy this version of the game on release day or pre-order it as we comment here. So there is no point of all the hate talk or criticism of COD because CODs will keep spanning like a lizard's tail and we will keep having people who will buy these games. Not to mention, post videos of the unboxing on Youtube which is even more irritating. Same old story every time !

@starjay009 absolutely true. We can just hope that with each passing year more and more people realize call of duty is a waste of money.

@MoreThot @starjay009 I personally like call of duty a lot. It is one of the most stream lined and well done FPS games out there. My biggest issue is I don't have a lot of time to play these games. By the time I settle in and feel like I can just pick up the controller and hop on a match, the game is already "outdated" and a new "iteration" is being crammed down our throats while the dust has barely settled on the first one.

At this point the game developers and player base has largely left and moved onto another clone, requiring an exorbitant amount of money to continue playing the exact same game. I wish they would support each game for at least 2 yrs and release something massively game changing every 3-4yrs. Unfortunately that isn't how Activision runs its business.

What, no rc car or night vision goggles this time around?  Those are the kind of goodies that get people to buy these editions not patches and some free skins. I haven't bought a collector's edition since MW2 with the NVGs in them.

I don't know about you guys, but I still find shooting baddies and blowing up stuff to be fun.

... But there are so many good looking  games coming out this year that CoD would probably be one of my last choices.

adrunk3nduck

@borlng Such as Shadows of Mordor or Destiny (only examples.) CoD can go suck a lemon.

I was hoping those guns were actually replicas, then again what I was expecting from the same company that makes you pay 110 euros for their game in order to have it complete.

I don't understand buying these sets, no matter what game it's for (Halo, etc.). It's junk and toys. You're an adult. You're not a collector, you're a hoarder.

To all credible gamers:

Don't buy it. Developers who sell incomplete standard editions, then sell the complete editions at a higher price should not be given any attention. If Activision truly stood by their product, and believed it were the crowning achievement it is made out to be each and every year, they would want as many players possible to be able to experience and enjoy the game. A collectors edition should feature the same game as the standard, and should include a bunch of goodies not relating directly to gameplay (i.e maps, weapons etc).

I find it astonishing that a developer like CDPR, who have released only 2 full and complete games (with free upgrades along the way), and basically give them away at sales (old COD games are still VERY expensive) are doing it better. CDPR have less renown, less experience in the industry, have gained more respect and have properly built up well-justified hype for The Witcher 3.

Say no to CoD, and hold out the extra few months for proper single-player goodness that will last for many hours.

@dani_i89 wasting your breath, unfortunately.  They know they can make money - ergo, they do.

Waste of money big time, just buy the standard game then the season pass all together it will cost about £75. The gorge map and guns will come out on the season pass in the end anyway.

Does $120 get you a campaign longer than a flea's d-ck ....? Or just more 12 year old kids, dudebros, and douchebags who refuse to go out on friday night without their favorite fedora.

@coldreboot After the little MP spoiler they put at the end of that trailer and it looks like it wont be popular long the quick scopers wont play it since it more like Halo and Titanfall.

Seems like any other CE. I never understand why gamers buy that sh.it.

I haven't played COD in years, but for some reason I'm really hoping this game is good.

I think if you do buy the collector's edition of something...you should get the DLC available with it!!  you are paying the extra money for stuff...so content should be included!!  OF course...you should be getting the WHOLE game anyways but DLC seems to be the way nowadays :(

I only buy the collector's edition for statues, shame CoD never offers them.

I hate how those special editions have a map that others won't have.  So it means most people will pay for an incomplete game from the start.  Nice scam Activision.

Zloth2

@nurnberg  I don't think their maps are all that complex.  Even then, there will be maps on the Internet almost instantly.

I used to buy the top tier collector's editions but the games became progressively worse (technically). Then I bought the middle tier collector edition for Ghost. Now I have a feeling I may not purchase this at all.

Rakou

@RicanV That's really suspicious. Firstly, you're apparently a Gamespot moderator moderator, and you actually said something slightly negative about CoD.

And I thought the GS Staff isn't allowed to say anything bad about CoD...
