10Six shuts down

Sega.com has announced the end of 10Six, its massively multiplayer online strategy game. The game was shut down on May 31, more than two years after its launch on Sega's Heat.net online gaming site. Information for subscribers interested in getting their remaining time refunded is posted on the official 10Six Web site.

10Six was set in a persistent sci-fi universe that could support up to 1 million players. The real-time game let players build bases and fight battles to expand their territory. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
