$10 Pokemon X/Y music collection hits iTunes

Super Music Collection includes more than 200 songs featured in Pokemon X and Pokemon Y; more soundtracks coming in 2014.

The Pokemon Company today released the Pokemon X & Pokemon Y: Super Music Collection on iTunes, a bundle that features songs from the games with "enhanced" sound quality. The soundtrack is available today only on iTunes.

The collection is $10 and features more than 200 songs totalling over 3.5 hours of music. In addition, album purchases come with a battle game music track from the Pokemon Origins animated show, which begins airing November 15 through Pokemon TV.

What's more, Pokemon X & Pokemon Y: Super Music Collection also features five bonus tracks from Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue from original composer Shota Kageyama of Game Freak.

This album marks the first time The Pokemon Company has officially released Pokemon music on iTunes. Soundtracks for various other Pokemon games (listed below) will be released in 2014.

  • Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen
  • Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver
  • Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire
  • Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl
  • Pokémon Black and Pokémon White
  • Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2
