Best $8 I've spent in awhile. In addition, Xbox Live has a sale going on right now as well. Deus Ex Human Revolution $4.99, Fallout 3 $4.99, Fallout New Vegas $4.99, Dishonored $6.59, and several more.

Got an amazing haul of 10 games off of this: Syphon Filter trilogy, Wild Arms 1 & 2, Legend of Dragoon, Worms Revolution, Toejam & Earl, Double Dragon Neon,  and Velocity Ultra. Thanks, Sony!

Whoa Gamespot gave Legend of Dragoon a 6.4 back when it came out. Question- why does the article say 99 cents but the prices below the article are way higher? Is that their original price?

Great games - worth 2 bucks if your needing a summer rpg fix.

I wonder why its not available also in Europe.

I remember that the Syphon Filters were games where the first couple of levels were cool, but then later it was hard to figure out where to go or had wonky mechanics, and I could never finish the games.

Legend of Dragoon!!! Easily makes it in my top 10 for PS1 JRPGs.....if only my Vita screen wasn't cracked *sniff sniff*

For anyone reading that list: pick up The legend of dragoon

Think Final fantasy x with better combat and a fantastic story!

Wish UK/Europe had that same offer because those are some really good deals

Definitely gonna snag a few games from this awesome sale. For one, The Cave is finally at a price worth buying... and I'll probably grab Harvest Moon and a few others.

Legend of Dragoon, Wild Arms 1 & 2, and Twisted Metal: Black all for under $30? Now that's a steal unlike the ripoff rental service that our next gen PS4 had to get use to.

Dyad is a great way to test if you or a friend or family member has epilepsy

Just got Double Dragon Neon. I was hoping for Nights Into Dreams to be on there.

Picked up all three Siphon Filter games for nostalgia's sake. Never played the WildArms or Dino Crisis games so gonna get those a bit later. Too bad about LoD, would've gotten it on the Vita since you could on the PSP but oh well. Dunno about Harvest moon but anything else that I haven't mentioned is already acquired on PS+

Urban Trial Freestyle looks good. So I bought that one and enjoyed it so far.

This is making me want to get Wild Arms since i never played it.  And to anybody who hasn't played The Legend of Dragoon I would suggest getting that quick!  It's so underrated lol

I was disappointed with PS+ this week.  Wild Arms looks good, it's a game I almost got a few times.  Will pick up Syphon Filter just for a lark...worth $1 just to try.

@genjuroT Yes that's the price that it would normally be sold as.

@Chatch09 don't worry it is being sold for PS3 and PSP but not Vita?

@Asharel

Warning though, combat are extremely long, usually 1 minute each minimum and much longer for boss.

So for anyone who don't have much patience or like more fast paced games, don't buy it.

Otherwise ,by all mean buy it, it's an awesome game.

@sdinh225 I read somewhere that LoD works fine on the Vita. You just are unable to buy it for some reason using the vita only, you got to transfer it from a PS3.

I still have LoD for ps1 but sadly no longer have a launch model PS3. Can't pad up this fall!

Thank you. Too bad it is not for vita

@Sefrix I really enjoyed LoD on my PS1. If I wanted to bring back any franchise it would be that one. A sequel with todays tech? Instant buy.

Sefrix

Yeah I'm unsure of ps1 backwards compatibility, with a launch model I never really cared. As for a sequel? I'd be all over that though I imagine they'd ruin it.

@Branmuffin316 @Sefrix The first line of PS3's were the only ones that were backwards compatible. I have a fat PS3 (I've had it for years) that is not backwards compatible because it was the 2nd or 3rd line.

xantufrog

@RicanV @Branmuffin316 @Sefrix I think you are confusing PS1 with PS2 compatibility. PS2 support was limited - 60GB played PS2 games pretty close to flawlessly because it actually physically had the chipset in it. Then there was an 80gb model with crummy software emulation that only worked with some PS2 titles. Then even that got the axe.

I've never seen a PS3 model that couldn't play PS1 games, and I've personally owned both a slim and a phat...although I will acknowledge there may be mild compatibility issues with some titles just as is true of emulation in general

varmintx
varmintx

@RicanV @Branmuffin316 @Sefrix I hate to tell a mod they're wrong, but I'm afraid you are.  I have a Slim and it plays PS1 discs.  I'm actually in the middle of playing Chrono Cross right now.

xantufrog
xantufrog

@varmintx I agree - all PS3s are PS1 compatible. PS2 backwards compatibility was limited to early models.

I play a number of PS1 games on my slim PS3 without problems and am more than confident LoD would run as well
