Jedi Knight II mod tools available

Raven Software has announced the release of a downloadable mod kit for Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, LucasArts' popular Star Wars action game. The tools include a map editor, a map compiler, model viewers, and a shader editor and viewer. The 4MB mod kit lets players create and import new maps and models for the game, and it can be downloaded from the links below.

Jedi Knight II is set in the Star Wars sci-fi universe, and it lets players assume the role of Kyle Katarn, a Jedi warrior on a mission to stop the forces of the Empire. Players have access to a wide variety of weapons, including the lightsaber and a number of special Jedi powers, and they can engage in combat in both single- and multiplayer modes.
