Electronic Arts will soon release a playable multiplayer demo of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, according to a company representative. The demo will include one free-for-all deathmatch level set in war-torn Stalingrad, and it will feature building-to-building combat. Players will choose from six character models--three Allied and three Axis--including the Medal of Honor Underground character Manon as well as US Airborne and US regular army soliders on the Allied side, and an Afrika Corps private, a Wehrmacht soldier, and a Panzer tank commander on the Axis side. The weapons featured in the demo include the Browning Automatic Rifle, the Thompson sub machine gun, the MP40, the Panzerfaust, and the bazooka. There will also be a mounted MG-42 that players can use.

We'll post information on where to download the demo once it is released. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is scheduled for release in January. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
