A great point and click adventure game

User Rating: 9 | Art of Murder: Cards of Destiny PC
This game is definitely worth playing if you like these kind of games although the game is far from perfect.

The story: The story of this game is pretty good because it has some twists and turns along the way. It isn't the most original idea though but I liked it so the story gets 5/5.

The sound: The music is pretty good but it does have moments where it covers what the characters are saying. The things that Nicole says through out the game while you are working in the menu is a little repetitive and annoying. The voice actors did a great job - too bad the lip-sync is way off. So the sound gets 3/5.

The visual aspect: This game has pretty cool backgrounds without the game. There are some bugs when the NPC's move from time to time. The main characters don't look so good as far as details go. So the visuals get a 4/5.

The puzzles in the game: The puzzles of this game aren't so hard overall. The item menu isn't that user friendly because of how the designers made it - at one time you can simply left click on an item and it morphs into whatever you need while in other cases you have to zoom in to try and take for example a cigar. This is a pretty important known shippable issue that the designers didn't want to take care of probably because the release date was near. This game had only 8 testers so it is no surprise that a pretty important bug got left behind. For the puzzles the game gets 3/5.

Game crashes or freezes: Fortunately the game has no such problems so it gets a 5/5.

Overall the game got a 4/5 for the reasons stated above and I gave it the score of 9 out of 10 because I enjoyed the story of the game and I pretty much like good games from this adventure/point n' click genre.
