This game rocks. I just finished GOW 3, then put this in and it stands against it quite well. The levels aren't linear in their design so there's always opportunities to sneak up on your foes and the firefights are downright awesome. I also find that even though I'm playing the game with a npc he seems to do quite well by himself......I'm actually killing fewer people than he is??? I think when I'm done I'll write a review on this one.

I am not one who likes 3rd person shooters usually but I can see my son and I having some fun with this game in coop. I like the graphics and the ability to modify your weapons so much. I know my son will like that aspect of it and so it will be interesting to see all the combinations we can come up with. I think we will be playing this in due time.

This game was fun. I didn't play the multiplayer much, but the single player campaign is cool. It is sorta short though.

This would definitely be in my list of the top 10 most underrated games ever! I only wish the weapon upgrade system was as accessible as in the 1st game and better, more fleshed out consequences to the good/bad decisions taken, a great game overall and a must own for action shooter fans.

Underrated game if you ask me. I had a lot of fun playing it. Major improvement over the original.

Lets c...this game is great..tru not much online stuff to do,but i find myself going 4 replays, going online to shoot enemies and a good game to have if u ever have a friend over. Since it's CoOp based it's a nice game to play in the future. First time you play it is great, i went through a few reruns(at least half a dozen hours or so) then stopped, but many times i just turned on my Ps3 popped in this game and started playing on my favorite campaign level. A nice game to have for sure.

It is like a 9.0. I got this game 3 days ago and it's amazing. I haven't beat it yet but it sure is awesome.

I just played the demo about an hour ago and I had a blast. The only question left in my head is why the hell did this game get a 7.5? Seemed more like an 8.5 or a 9.0 to me.

GAmespot never gives a proper rating

  • DylanRobles

    Posted Jun 9, 2010 9:17 am GMT

Yeah, you would think it got at least an 8 or 8.5... I think a 7.5 seems a little brutal.

if i watched the review without seeing the rating i would guess you gave it a 8.5 but you gave it a 7.5. The review doesn't match the rating

This deserved a better review. I mean the guns are FULLY customizable. Tell me that's not awesome. And comparing it to the first piece of garbage this one really seemed like it was totally revamped. The gameplay is far more sophisticated. My only complaint was how short the campaign was...
