Not bad for an Army Men game

Ok. So I played army men on my N64 and actually thought it was fun. Me and some friends would sit around and play deathmatch and laugh. This version of the license is pretty close to how I felt about the last time I played the game. It was spectacular but it was good enough to enjoy without getting overly bored or disappointed. Probably because I wasn't expecting that much from the game. So Sarge and the green army about to sign a peace treaty with the Tan army. Plastic soldiers everywhere rejoice and share plastic punch, sing and dance and are merry. Then Tan attacks and blows most of Green to smithereens. Hey, its an army men game. Some has to fight someone and if the same old enemy still works than go for it. The game play is pretty good with sarge grabbing weapons and ammo and lobbying grenades at the enemy. The controls were tight in my opinion and except for some wall interference from time to time (which happened when the camera would get behind you and you were standing next to a wall) the camera 3rd person view wasn't bad. With the option to go to FPS for sniping and such, it was an anjoyable experience. The multiplayer option I played with deathmatch was ok. But since I rarely play online anymore or with other people this wasn't a big draw to begin with. There really isn't that much to say about this game. You will either like, find it ok or dislike it. I found it ok and would play it if I had nothing else to play. Unfortunately for this title I do so this is a rental at best.
